DPS Academy

DPS Academy in Dubai, previously known as Union International Indian School, was a private school affiliated with the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) curriculum from Delhi. It was located in Dubai International Academic City and was one of the institutions operating under the Delhi Public School Society umbrella, alongside other DPS schools in Dubai and Sharjah.

The school commenced its first phase in April 2013, starting with kindergarten and grades one through five, with an estimated capacity for about 2,000 students. DPS Academy offered an English medium education with Arabic as a compulsory subject as mandated by the UAE Ministry of Education and KHDA, and Hindi or French as a second language option.

Despite its ambitions and significant enrollment, DPS Academy announced its closure scheduled for March 2017. The institution was focused on delivering quality education aligned with the ICSE standards during its operational years, aiming to serve the Indian expatriate community and providing a rigorous academic framework before its closure.
