Dubai International School

Dubai International School (DIS) was founded on December 1, 1985, and is one of Dubai's prominent private American curriculum schools. The school operates two branches in Dubai, located in Al Garhoud and Al Quoz, strategically placed to serve the most populated areas within Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

DIS offers education from Preschool (Kindergarten) through Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. The curriculum is based on California state standards, conforming to both the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education and United States educational standards, including California’s Common Core State Standards for English and Mathematics and Next Generation Science Standards for Science.

The school holds full accreditation from the UAE Ministry of Education and US accrediting bodies such as NEASC and COGNIA, ensuring high educational quality.

Over the years, Dubai International School has expanded its student body to encompass a diverse international community representing over 55 nationalities.
