Dubai Modern High School

Dubai Modern High School, now known as GEMS Modern Academy, was founded on October 18, 1986, as one of Dubai’s pioneering Indian curriculum schools. Located in the Nad Al Sheba area, the school is part of the GEMS Education group, a leading global network of private schools.

Initially established with the vision to provide a high standard of education to Indian expatriates in the UAE, the school follows the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) curriculum and offers education from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Over the years, the institution has expanded significantly and integrated the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme and Diploma Programme to complement its Indian curriculum, offering a dual pathway to students.

In recent years, GEMS Modern Academy extended its offerings with specialized programs like a cricket academy to enhance sports education.
