Souk Madinat

Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a vibrant shopping and cultural destination situated within the Madinat Jumeirah resort complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Officially launched in 2004 under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the souk was designed to reimagine and preserve Dubai’s local heritage and history by drawing inspiration from traditional Arab marketplaces.

Architecturally, it reflects the style of ancient souks and is characterized by winding corridors, carved wooden ceilings, hanging lanterns, and serene waterways crossed by traditional wooden abras (boats), creating a picturesque and immersive shopping environment.
