SouqExtra is a chain of community-focused shopping centers located in various parts of Dubai, including Dubai Silicon Oasis and Dubai Investments Park. Developed by the Lootah Group and other investors, SouqExtra centers are designed as neighborhood malls that provide convenient retail and service options to nearby residential and commercial areas.

The first SouqExtra opened around 2009, with subsequent centers expanding across Dubai and other emirates, aiming to serve local communities with a mix of retail shops, supermarkets, dining options, and essential services.

For instance, the Souq Extra Dubai Silicon Oasis center, which opened its first phase in 2017, features over 36 retail outlets including major tenants like Carrefour Market, KFC, McDonald's, and Starbucks. Another key location, Souq Extra Dubai Investments Park, serves residents and workers in the mixed-use area with about 16 retail tenancies.

These malls are comparatively smaller than Dubai’s mega-malls, with retail spaces generally ranging from around 25,000 to over 80,000 square feet, focusing on accessibility and convenience rather than extensive luxury retail. SouqExtra centers often include supermarkets, pharmacies, money exchange services, food and beverage outlets, beauty salons, and children’s entertainment areas, catering to daily needs and community gatherings.
