The 21st Century Tower is a residential skyscraper located along Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With 55 floors and a height of approximately 269 meters (883 feet) to its tip, the tower was completed in 2003 after construction began in 2001. At the time of its completion, it held the title of the world's tallest residential building, a distinction later surpassed by other towers globally.
The building was designed by the architectural firm WS Atkins & Partners and is owned by A W Rostamani Real Estate. The tower contains around 400 apartments, comprising 300 three-bedroom units and 100 two-bedroom flats, catering primarily to residents seeking modern urban living close to Dubai's commercial hubs.
Amenities include a nine-level basement parking with 412 spaces, seven elevators operated by an intelligent system, a rooftop swimming pool, gym facilities, and children's play areas. The tower is marked by the Al Rostamani logo featuring three doves in flight prominently displayed on its structure.
Its location on Sheikh Zayed Road provides residents convenient access to Dubai’s business and shopping districts, making it a highly sought-after residential address in the city. The 21st Century Tower stands as a significant example of Dubai's rapid urban development and architectural ambition in the early 21st century.
Tourists don’t know where they’ve been, travelers don’t know where they’re going.
