Al Tayer Group is a diversified and privately held holding company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, established in 1979.

Over several decades, it has grown into one of the most respected and dynamic business conglomerates in the Middle East. The group operates across multiple industries including automotive sales and services, luxury and lifestyle retail, real estate development, engineering, interior contracting, and distribution.

It represents many of the world’s leading automotive and luxury retail brands, including Land Rover, Jaguar, Ford, Ferrari, Armani, Bulgari, Harvey Nichols, and Bloomingdale’s, and manages nearly 200 stores and showrooms across the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

Al Tayer Group’s automotive division, founded in 1982, has introduced prestigious European and American automobile brands to the region and includes a car rental business with a fleet of over 4,500 vehicles.

The retail arm, Al Tayer Insignia, has been a pioneer in luxury retail in the Middle East, launching flagship stores for high-end brands and introducing department stores such as Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdale’s to the region. The group also expanded into e-commerce with the launch of Ounass.com, a luxury online shopping platform.

Beyond retail and automotive, Al Tayer Group has interests in real estate, hospitality, healthcare, construction, and engineering, operating subsidiaries that provide interior contracting, precision tooling manufacturing, freight logistics, and general construction services.

In 2018, the group partnered with Mexican cinema operator Cinépolis to develop movie theaters in the GCC, expanding its footprint into entertainment. The leadership under Chairman Obaid Al Tayer has focused on innovation, customer experience, and regional expansion, employing a diverse workforce of over 9,000 people.
