Arabtec Tower

Arabtec Tower in Dubai is a high-rise building project that was planned to stand at approximately 369.1 meters (1,211 feet) tall with 77 floors. The tower was designed for residential and hotel use, positioned within Dubai's rapidly developing urban landscape.

The project was part of the portfolio of Arabtec Holding PJSC, a prominent Emirati construction company established in 1975 and widely recognized for its role in shaping Dubai's skyline through numerous landmark projects, including the Burj Khalifa and Dubai International Airport expansions.

Despite the ambitious design and strategic location, Arabtec Tower was never completed due to various economic challenges and project delays. Arabtec Holding, which was heavily involved in Dubai's construction boom, faced financial difficulties, particularly following the global economic downturn and the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic.

The company filed for liquidation in 2020, and its assets were liquidated by 2022. Throughout its operation, Arabtec was known for its large-scale developments and partnerships, contributing significantly to Dubai's modern architectural achievements.

Arabtec Tower remains a symbol of Dubai's ambitious urban development plans and the complexities involved in executing mega construction projects in a volatile economic environment.
