City University College of Ajman

City University College of Ajman, also known as City University Ajman (CUA), is a higher education institution located in Ajman, United Arab Emirates.

It was established in August 2011 and commenced operations in 2012 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman. The college initially operated as City University College of Ajman and was granted university status in October 2022 by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR).

Modeled on the American education system, the university is designed to meet the evolving demands of the global workforce by offering flexible schedules through morning, evening, and weekend classes.

CUA offers over 21 academic specializations across six colleges, including Dentistry, Technology, Business, Law, Humanities, Media, and the Department of Education. The university emphasizes academic excellence, innovation, and personal development, integrating scientific research and fostering leadership skills in its students.

It serves a multicultural student body representing more than 50 nationalities and offers courses primarily in English and Arabic. CUA is recognized for its membership in the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP), allowing students to study abroad at over 300 universities worldwide, and it is also a member of AACSB International, which aims to improve the quality of business education globally.

The university focuses on preparing its students to excel in their careers and contribute meaningfully to society. It maintains partnerships with various government and private organizations in the UAE, supporting practical training and community engagement. City University Ajman is licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Education – Higher Education Affairs of the UAE, ensuring its programs meet national academic standards.
