Curtin University

Curtin University Dubai is an international campus of Curtin University, a well-established Australian public research university that originated as the Western Australian Institute of Technology (WAIT) in 1966.

Curtin University itself was named after John Curtin, an influential Australian Prime Minister during World War II. Curtin University Dubai was officially launched in 2018 in Dubai International Academic City, marking the institution's third international campus after those in Sarawak, Malaysia (1999), and Singapore (2008).

The Dubai campus was opened during Curtin’s 50 Years of Innovation celebrations, symbolizing both its expansion and global outreach.

The Dubai campus offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs focusing primarily on business, science, engineering, humanities, and health sciences, aiming to serve students mainly from the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, Africa, and Central Asia.

Curtin University Dubai emphasizes applied research, practical learning, and industry engagement to prepare graduates for professional careers.
