Dubai Exiles Rugby Ground

Dubai Exiles Rugby Ground is the home venue for the Dubai Exiles Rugby Football Club, one of the oldest and most successful rugby clubs in the United Arab Emirates. The club traces its origins back to the late 1960s and has since grown exponentially, becoming a central part of the rugby community in Dubai.

The rugby ground is situated within The Sevens Stadium complex, a purpose-built venue established in 2008 that offers world-class facilities including eight rugby and football pitches, some designed to international TV standards and all floodlit for evening play.

The Dubai Exiles Rugby Ground supports a vibrant rugby program with participation spanning all ages and skill levels, from mini and youth rugby to senior men’s teams competing in regional leagues like the West Asia Premiership and UAE Rugby Premiership. The clubhouse at the ground has a distinctive vintage industrial design, showcasing the history and heritage of the club with memorabilia, old images, honor boards, and the club's first jersey displayed museum-style.

This fosters a strong sense of community and pride among players and supporters. The ground also serves as a training base for the UAE national rugby teams and regularly hosts local and international tournaments, including the famous Emirates Airline Dubai Sevens.

Beyond rugby, the club organizes and promotes netball and cricket, contributing broadly to the sporting landscape of Dubai. With its comprehensive facilities and rich history, the Dubai Exiles Rugby Ground remains a cornerstone for rugby development and sports culture in the region.
