Hamdan Sports Complex

Hamdan Sports Complex is a world-class multi-purpose sports arena located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Completed in October 2010 and owned by Dubai Municipality, the complex spans an impressive 24 hectares and is known for its striking blue architectural design surrounded by lush landscaping.

The sports facility boasts a seating capacity of 15,000 spectators and features three Olympic-standard swimming pools: a 50-meter competition pool, a 50-meter multipurpose pool with movable floors that can quickly convert into two shorter pools of varying depths, and a diving pool equipped with platforms ranging from 1 to 10 meters.

The venue meets strict international standards, making it suitable for hosting global aquatic events such as swimming, diving, and water polo competitions.

Beyond aquatic sports, the complex is versatile and can be transformed into a dry-land arena for events such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, karate, concerts, exhibitions, and international conventions. The arena includes state-of-the-art LED scoreboards, sound systems, ultra-bright projectors, and large HD video walls to enhance the spectator experience.

Facilities also include badminton courts, ping pong tables, a fully equipped gym with Life Fitness machines, and connection to the Al Qudra cycling track for outdoor fitness activities.

Hamdan Sports Complex has hosted a wide range of international sporting events, including the 2010 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), the 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship finals, and the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship.

The venue is not only a center for elite sports but also offers programs for the local community, with swimming lessons in pools with adjustable depths for children and adults, diving classes, and public swimming time.
