Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) is the official media organization of the government of Dubai, established in 2003 to consolidate and manage the emirate's diverse media assets.

It operates a range of media outlets across print, radio, television, and online platforms, including Arabic and English language channels such as Dubai TV, Sama Dubai, Dubai One, Dubai Sports, and Dubai Racing, as well as newspapers like Al Bayan and Emarat Al Youm.

The organization also manages radio stations including Dubai FM and Noor Dubai Radio, and digital news platforms like Emirates 24/7, catering to a broad audience across the Middle East and North Africa.

Before DMI's establishment, Dubai’s government-owned media entities were managed separately under the Dubai Department of Media but were unified under DMI to focus on creating a comprehensive media organization capable of competing regionally with leading broadcasters like the MBC Group.

DMI undertook a strategic relaunch of its television channels to broaden their audience reach with programming that targets both Arab nationals and expatriates, including local news, entertainment, cultural shows, and Western content with Arabic subtitles.

The company's structure expanded significantly in 2009 after a merger with Arab Media Group, which brought radio stations and print publications under its umbrella, making DMI one of the largest media companies in the Middle East.

DMI operates with an independent legal personality and financial autonomy, managing its operations on a commercial for-profit basis, while aligning closely with Dubai's strategic objectives and priorities.

Its mission emphasizes innovation, quality programming, and supporting Dubai’s global profile as a hub for business, tourism, and culture. The organization also offers production, postproduction, engineering, and transmission services to external clients through its DCN Broadcast Services.

Throughout its history, DMI has played a pivotal role in the UAE’s media landscape, promoting cultural values while embracing modern media trends and technologies to connect local and international audiences.
