Elham Al Qasim

Elham Al Qasim, born in July 1982 in Dubai, is a pioneering Emirati adventurer, business executive, and advocate for women's empowerment. She gained international recognition in April 2010 when she became the first Arab woman and the first Emirati to reach the North Pole through an unsupported and unassisted skiing expedition, an achievement that required extraordinary physical endurance and mental resilience.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from the American University in Dubai and a Master of Science degree in Management of NGOs from the London School of Economics.

Her early career included roles in investment banking with JPMorgan, followed by leadership roles in government-related investment and strategic planning organizations, including serving as CEO of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and Executive Director of the Ghadan 21 economic acceleration program.

Currently, she is the CEO of Digital14, a company focused on digital transformation and innovation in the UAE.

Known for her determination and leadership, she combines her adventurous spirit with a strong commitment to social impact and economic development. Beyond her professional achievements, she has also launched initiatives such as The Natural Laundry Company, aimed at environmentally friendly solutions inspired by her personal journey as a mother managing her child's allergies.

She is widely regarded as a role model for Emirati women, exemplifying how cultural barriers can be transcended through courage, education, and perseverance.
