Emirates Aviation University

Emirates Aviation University (EAU) is a leading higher education institution in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, specializing in aviation-related studies such as aeronautical engineering, aviation management, business management, aviation safety, and security studies.

It was originally established in 1991 as Dubai Aviation College by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority to provide aviation-related training to private students. In 2001, it merged with Emirates Training College and was renamed Emirates Aviation College. It gained university status in December 2010, becoming Emirates Aviation University under the accreditation of the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The university operates as the academic arm of the Emirates Group, a global travel and tourism conglomerate.

EAU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs designed to align with industry standards in aviation and business sectors. It emphasizes practical skills by integrating academic knowledge with real-world industry experience, and it provides a six-month internship program within the Emirates Group for top-performing students. The university campus is equipped with modern facilities and student accommodations designed to support students’ academic and personal needs.

EAU is accredited by several international and regional bodies and maintains collaborations with respected global aviation and academic institutions, including Coventry University in the UK.

Through its more than 30 years of operation, EAU has graduated over 26,000 students from more than 25 nationalities, many of whom have become leaders in the aviation industry.
