Esther Eden

Esther Eden Fernandes, born on November 26, 1997, in Goa, India, is an Indian singer-songwriter based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

She moved to the UAE when she was seven months old and has been raised there since. Growing up in a musical household—her mother being a jazz singer—she developed an early passion for music, teaching herself piano, guitar, and ukulele.

She first rose to prominence in 2014 when British singer Jessie J saw her perform an original song at her school, Al Diyafah High School in Dubai, and invited her to join her on stage at the Red Fest DXB concert, where Esther performed before a crowd of over 10,000 people.

She signed with Universal Music MENA in 2015 and released her debut single "Phoenix" in 2016, a track symbolizing rising above challenges, inspired by her experiences with bullying after her viral Jessie J performance.

She followed this with other singles like "Is This Love" and "Here We Go," garnering considerable attention in the Middle Eastern music scene. Esther has performed alongside international artists such as Jessie J, Fifth Harmony, Sean Paul, and Big Sean at major events like Red Fest DXB and Beats on the Beach.

She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in songwriting from BIMM Institute, Berlin, honing her skills in music composition and business.

She has been nominated for accolades such as the "Young Achiever" award at the Emirates Woman of the Year Awards and the Best Local Act at the HYPE Awards.
