Hayla Ghazal

Hayla Ghazal, born in 1995, is a Syrian internet personality and influential social media creator based in Dubai. She is best known for her YouTube channel, HaylaTV, which she launched in 2013 at the age of 18 with the initial goal of becoming a television presenter.

Originally creating content in English, she shifted to producing Arabic-language videos in 2014, leading to a significant increase in popularity. By age 20, her channel had amassed one million subscribers and 100 million views, growing to over 9 million subscribers by 2021.

Her content primarily includes makeup, style, cookery, and comedic explorations of social topics such as limitations faced by women in the Arab world.

She has been recognized for her impact beyond entertainment; in 2016, she was appointed as a Change Ambassador for Goodwill by the United Nations, the only Middle Eastern representative in this role.

That same year, she met with Pope Francis alongside other notable bloggers, receiving encouragement to support their followers positively. She has also been honored with the Arab Women’s Award for New Media and was listed among the 100 Most Influential Arab Youth under 40 in 2016.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from the American University in Dubai and operates two boutiques in Dubai under the brand Hayla Couture. Moreover, she is a certified mental health practitioner and life coach, complementing her online influence with advocacy for empowerment and well-being.
