ICD Brookfield Place

ICD Brookfield Place is a prominent mixed-use development located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Completed in 2020, the development features a 53-story commercial tower with a sharp prismatic design, reaching a height of approximately 282 to 283 meters (925 to 930 feet). It offers over 900,000 square feet of Grade A office space alongside 150,000 square feet of retail and dining areas.

The project is a collaboration between the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) and Brookfield Property Partners, with architecture by Foster + Partners.

The tower is renowned for its exceptional sustainability standards and has achieved LEED Platinum certification, making it the largest and tallest LEED Platinum office building in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. It incorporates numerous environmental initiatives including 30% reduced energy use compared to industry standards, extensive water conservation, and high indoor air quality facilitated by advanced HVAC and UV disinfection systems.

The building design includes a striking 30-meter (98-foot) high summer garden, which serves as a vibrant communal space and social heart of the complex, integrating greenery and natural light into the intense urban environment of DIFC.

ICD Brookfield Place is designed with a distinctive A-frame structural form that enhances its stability and creates a visually striking entrance to the DIFC. The glass façade features large aluminum louvers and curtain walls that optimize daylight while managing solar heat gain.

The building provides high-tech amenities such as destination-controlled lifts, 2,700 parking spaces distributed across seven basement levels, a health and fitness club, arts facilities, restaurants, cafes, and community hubs. Strategically positioned with panoramic views of Dubai Creek, Emirates Towers, Burj Khalifa, and Downtown Dubai, ICD Brookfield Place exemplifies state-of-the-art office design combining architectural elegance, sustainability, and occupant well-being.
