Khalid Albudoor is an acclaimed Emirati poet, writer, researcher, and cultural advisor born in Dubai in 1961. He is recognized as one of the pioneering figures in the modern poetry movement of the United Arab Emirates.
He began publishing his poetry in the late 1970s and has since released multiple poetry collections, with his first book "NIGHT" published in Lebanon in 1992, winning the prestigious Al-Khal Poetry Award. He studied mass communication at United Arab Emirates University and later earned a master's degree in screenwriting from Ohio University in the United States.
