Mara Group is a multinational conglomerate headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, founded in 1996 by Ashish J. Thakkar at the age of 15.

Originating as a small IT business in Uganda, the group has since expanded its operations and investments across 25 African countries, spanning multiple sectors including financial services, infrastructure, real estate, technology, manufacturing, and renewable energy.
