Middlesex University Dubai

Middlesex University Dubai is a branch campus of Middlesex University London, established in 2005 as the university's first overseas campus. It is located primarily in Dubai Knowledge Park, with an additional campus at Dubai International Academic City opened in 2021.

Middlesex University itself traces its origins back to 1878, when St Katherine’s College and the Hornsey School of Arts and Crafts, two educational institutions in north London, were founded. These institutions eventually merged into Middlesex Polytechnic in 1973, which was granted university status in 1992.

Middlesex University has since grown into a globally recognized higher education institution, with campuses in Dubai, Mauritius, and other locations worldwide.

Middlesex University Dubai offers a wide range of foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA programs across diverse fields such as business, finance, marketing, computer engineering, data science, robotics, education, psychology, law, digital media, film, creative writing, fashion design, and graphic design.

The campus operates under a licensing agreement with the Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), and its programs are accredited by the UAE’s Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), ensuring that the academic standards align with those of the parent university in London. Middlesex Dubai has gained recognition for its quality of education, with KHDA commending its programs in 2009 and assigning a 5-star rating to its higher education classification.

The university hosts a diverse international student body, representing over 120 nationalities, and supports research and innovation through initiatives like the Office of Student Research.
