Nasser Hassan Al-Shaikh, born on May 22, 1971, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a prominent Emirati businessman and former government official.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from California State University, San Bernardino. He has served in several high-profile positions within Dubai's government and business sectors, including as the Director General of the Department of Finance, Government of Dubai, until May 2009.

During his tenure, he was regarded as one of the key figures managing Dubai's recovery efforts following the global financial crisis.

In 2009, he was moved to the position of Assistant Director of the Ruler's Court for Foreign Affairs, but a short while later, he resigned from this role along with several key chairmanships and board memberships, including those at Deyaar Development PJSC, Taaleem PJSC, National Bonds Corporation PJSC, and Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC.

This unexpected exit from government roles marked a significant shift in the business community as he had been deeply involved in Dubai's economic planning and financial stabilization.

After leaving public service, he became Chairman of Emirates National Holdings and took on leadership roles in various private investment entities, including Eshraq Investments PJSC.

His business portfolio extends across real estate development, finance, education, consumer savings products, retail, corporate banking, and aerospace sectors.
