Qasim Sultan Al Banna is a prominent Emirati politician who has held several significant positions within the Dubai government. His career spans over four decades, during which he rose through the ranks of Dubai Municipality, starting as an Assistant Engineer in 1960 and eventually serving as Deputy Director, Acting Director, and Director General of the Municipality.

Throughout his tenure, he received numerous accolades for his contributions to urban planning and development, including international recognition and awards from various organizations, such as the United Nations Centre for Human Settlements (UNCHS).
