Saint Joseph University
Saint Joseph University Dubai was established in 2008 as the first international branch of Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon.
The Dubai campus was founded through an academic cooperation with the government of Dubai, aiming to provide top-tier legal education to young Emirati students under the Edaad for Leaders Initiative. Sharing the vision of its parent campus in Beirut, the Dubai campus serves the educational and cultural development needs of the UAE, contributing to the region's academic growth alongside its urban and economic development.
Saint Joseph University Dubai offers a range of programs primarily through its School of Law, as well as its Schools of Translation and Science, focusing on interdisciplinary education relevant to the needs of its local and international student body.
After ending its direct cooperation with the Dubai government in 2014, the institution has continued independently, expanding its academic offerings such as the Master in Translation and the LLM in Business Law to cater to evolving market demands.
The Dubai campus is accredited locally and recognized for training legal professionals, and since 2019 it has carried the name Saint Joseph University Dubai, emphasizing its commitment to quality assurance, academic excellence, and preparation of students for professional success and leadership roles in the region.
