Sorouh Real Estate was a prominent real estate developer based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, established in 2003 and officially incorporated as a public joint stock company in 2005 with a capital of AED 2.5 billion.

The company became one of the largest real estate developers listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, known for its extensive portfolio of commercial and residential properties.

Sorouh was responsible for large-scale master developments such as Shams Abu Dhabi, Alghadeer, Lulu Island, and Saraya, as well as entire residential communities including Golf Gardens, Khalidiya Village, Sas Al Nakhl Village, and Al Oyoun Village. Among its notable projects was the Tala Tower, a 49-floor apartment building in the Marina Square area of Al Reem Island.

Sorouh Real Estate was widely recognized for its contribution to Abu Dhabi’s urban landscape, spearheading developments that combined luxury lifestyles, green spaces, and integrated community amenities.

The company won several awards, including “Best New Business” at the inaugural Middle East Business Achievement Awards in 2007. In June 2013, Sorouh Real Estate merged with Aldar Properties, creating the largest real estate development group in Abu Dhabi and one of the most influential in the UAE.

After the merger, a new entity, Sorouh Developments, was established in 2018 to expand into the Egyptian real estate market.

Sorouh Developments aims to create fully integrated and sustainable communities inspired by innovation and luxury, with projects such as Rosevil, Entrada New Capital, Entrada Avenue, and Citadel located in Egypt’s new administrative capital.

The company has emphasized quality, transparency, and client satisfaction while seeking to elevate living standards through its diverse property developments.
