University of Fujairah

The University of Fujairah, initially founded as Fujairah College in 2006, is a higher education institution located in Fujairah City, the capital of the Emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.

The establishment of the college was initiated by the members of the Fujairah Welfare Association with the aim of providing accessible, high-quality education to support the social and economic development of the emirate. In 2016, Fujairah College was elevated to university status, becoming the University of Fujairah, to better serve the educational needs of the region and reflect its expanded academic offerings.

The university is a semi-government, non-profit institution licensed by the UAE Ministry of Education and accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation.

University of Fujairah offers a broad range of academic programs across various fields, including Business Administration, Information Technology, Mass Communication, Arabic Language and Literature, Nursing, and Social Sciences.

It emphasizes practical skills, scientific research, and professional certifications to prepare graduates to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. The university enforces a student-centered approach and provides several support services such as medical assistance and student financial aid programs to enhance student welfare and academic success.
