Uptown Tower

Uptown Tower is a mixed-use supertall skyscraper located in the Uptown Dubai district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower was commissioned by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture. Construction began in January 2019 and the building was completed in 2023.

Uptown Tower stands at a height of 333.4 meters (1,094 feet) with 77 floors, making it one of the tallest buildings in Dubai. The building combines office, residential, and hotel spaces, featuring 417 units in total. It is LEED Gold certified, emphasizing sustainability and energy efficiency in its design and construction.

The construction involved extensive use of concrete and steel, with over 140,000 cubic meters of concrete and around 30,000 tonnes of steel used for reinforcement. Its facade consists of 8,542 glass panels arranged to create a striking visual effect, installed with innovative technologies like 3D modeling and digital tracking.

Uptown Tower has received awards for excellence from the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), recognizing its construction quality, design, and sustainable urban development contributions. Commercial office space within the tower was fully leased before the completion of construction. The building hosts key tenants like the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), which operates a laboratory within the tower.

Amenities include a business hub, retail outlets, restaurants, and cafes. It is situated near multiple Dubai landmarks and offers excellent connectivity to transportation hubs, making it a prime location for business and residential use. Uptown Tower represents a significant milestone in Dubai's urban development and architectural innovation.
